It is a common method used in Asia In more recent times it has gained popularity in Western countries, especially with a cosmetic application (particularly for removing/shaping eyebrows). Threading is also used to remove hair from the upper and lower lip as well as other areas of the face. This method of hair removal is more effective and less painful than tweezing & waxing. Hair re-growth becomes finer and more sparse after regular treatments.
